I just realized Khanmahtt and Norx have some overlapping skills; Climbing and Locks. Taketoshi, Lord Inar, Mister Frau Blucher, are you guys good with me overlapping up on those skills, or should I do something else? Suggestions?
Throw in Reynaldo's skills and all told, we're looking to be a fairly sneaky, hit'em fast dextrous gang. Don't know how well we'll stack up in a stand-up slugfest, so let's not get trapped in any dead end corners.

Not a bad idea to have multiple characters able to climb. Locks, maybe, maybe not. It is a good idea to have a broad skill set in the party, but of course someone might get waxed, so some overlap in that is not a bad idea, either.
Up to you, dude. If you keep it, cool, if not you might opt for Tracker.
Norx needs one more skill level (see elsewhere in the thread where I explain). He needs a Social Skill - maybe a language? Orcish, Elvish, Dwarven, Caprian could all come in handy. But it is your decision.

Taketoshi, You had the Locks skill first and it fits your greedy 'not-dwarf' character. I'll switch to Tracker. Rrowullh gets the Stealth from 'dad's training', Khanmahtt the Tracker skill - not bad.

Grettings all! First let me explain the name Blackjack. It is from a folk song "Black Jack Davy". It was the lullaby my mother sang to me when I was a wee one. The name has nothing to do with the card game. Now to pertinent data.
Name: Enyeto Str-9 Dx-14 IQ-9 MA-7
Bow,Hatchet(tomahawk-4), Leather
Bow(1), Axe (1), Survival(1), Swimming(1), Sailing(1), Orcish(1)
Enyeto spent the first 15 years of his life in the salt marshes and swamps south of the Great Orc Marsh. His days were spent hunting and fishing. Enyeto showed great promise as a fisherman. Often taking his small proa(outrigger canoe) miles into the open sea. On one such trip Enyeto was lost in a dense fog. He knew if he waited until the next day he could follow the rising sun home. He never got the chance. He was awakened by the sound of oars splashing in the water. It was Enyetos first experience with the men of the long ships. Try as he might he could not our run the ship and was soon overtaken. Enyeto spent the next year with the lash at his back and an oar in his hands. While enslaved Enyeto learned the common tongue from his captors. One night the ships masters anchored in a small inlet and began to celebrate the fleecing of some merchants in Brineway. That night the ships masters forgot to secure the chains of the slaves. Enyeto slipped into the frigid waters and swam to shore. Since his escape he made a living off the land and as a trapper. Selling his furs to fund his revenge. One day he will return to his people but not until the heads of his captors adorn his boat.

It'll really suck if they get whacked by Arpad Zloty in scene 2, but attached is the full back story I wrote for Khanmahtt and Rrowullh. Thanks Marc for the info on posting attachments. Use 'Reply' in the bar below the post, rather than the 'Quick Reply' window in the bottom left. In the Post Reply window, the second field down allows you to Browse to the file you want to upload. Welcome Blackjack! Prepare for some death lullabies!
Welcome Mojobillbo, and Mundy! I'll try not to call him Talbot.
Blacknigel, everyone is killed by Arpad in Scene 2. Everyone. Dude is bad. Also, thanks for making that info on attachments public knowledge!
OK guys, we have a party of warriors. That is cool - I am going to scale this game to the party we have, so you're not going to be penalized for not having a mage.
Also, I have put up a thred that consolidates the characters all into one post (minus backstory) and shows their current condition.

Hi all, Here is the Excel sheet I made oh-so-many years ago, but is now updated with the races from FitS. If you are selecting a region, just put 4 in override skills. I think most other things work just fine. Race attributes are a little funny (assuming 8 points with a modifier), but it works in the end. Let me know if it works for all of you. I know that sheets like this aren't needed for such a straightforward game, but I enjoy doing it. - Marc Attachments:
