I have looked around and not found a map for SOS or Legends of Time and Space? The notes in the adventure do not seen to correspond to any of the maps?
There are a couple of other instances like that.
Where is E? What is the 5x5 and 10x9 rooms? Or what map are they referring to?
Thank you. Omega

Hi Omega,
The map is at the end of the S.O.S. adventure on the main DCG site. When you download the game, scroll to the very end. I just tried it and it's there. If you're not seeing it, it may be an IT issue of some sort--beyond my realm of knowledge.

Ah, hah! I have a old version that is missing the map. Just re-downloaded it and there it is. Thanks for clearing that up!

Hello, Omega,
Welcome to the boards!
Sorry about the problem with the original download. For some reason, earlier versions of our free adventures occasionally replace the newer ones, when we are uploading something unrelated.
Anyway, it seems to be right now. Please let us know if you encounter a similar problem again.
Thanks!
Bret

One thing that confuses me about the maps in SOS is the terrain. The only terrain shown on the maps seems to be for an Operations Section, but the other locations are supposed to be having terrain such as beds or chests or equipment. Being an experienced gamer with decades of TFT and GURPS experience, it's easy for _me_ to just make something up (made it more difficult to hit things, but I still didn't really get hurt the first time I ran through a basic run). Seems to me it'd be pretty easy to offer maps with terrain for each location, fun, and very helpful and instructive and enticing for new players. It made sense for Metagaming to re-use one map for an entire MicroQuest because they were printing products for sale, but in the computer age it's quick and low/no cost, and even MicroQuests showed custom terrain for each location - tactical maps are a big part of what made the gameplay interesting, and the SOS battles I saw could be rather more interesting with terrain. Also, with no rules for range modifiers or shooting through friends or facing, or effects of injury or much of anything, the battles were only a step or two away (reach and dodge) from having the map be irrelevant and just boiling down to choosing targets and rolling against the same number to shoot things.
