Jeremiah will sprint away from the Revenants making sure they see him and keeping the lariat between him and them. When he gets to Gar or far enough away, he'll stop and start shooting with his rifle.

As Beck was dropping back he was removing the stick of dynamite from his belt and lighting it.
As the revenants approach, he throws it at the largest cluster of them.

The sizzle from the wick once lighted brought warmth to Beck's heart. His throw brought even more warmth, as it landed amidst the largest knot of Revenants. He braced himself for the explosion and waited to see how many undead were blown to bits.
"Damn right."

As Jones reaches his position with Beck, he turns, raises his rifle, and fires at a Revenant racing towards him. While the shot looked good to Jones when he pulled the trigger, he sees no visible effect on the Revenant. Perhaps it was a near miss or he just grazed it.

As the blast dies down, Beck withdraws his Gatling pistol (as his first round action).

The Revenants rapidly close the distance. Beck lights the stick of dynamite and makes a perfect throw. It plops down in the midst of the charging undead. At this time, Jones takes aim with his rifle, and shoots at the nearest one in the pack, but his shot misses the mark.
A crackling explosion ensues, and eight of the remaining ten revenants are impacted by the blast. Limbs are blown off, and fire engulfs the pack.
Two of their number, however, emerge from the blast unscathed, and continue their charge forward. Sensing the rope laid out in front of them, the two attempt to leap over it...

Beck uses no special tactics. Instead he braces for the attack, and then returns fire with his Gatling pistol.

The Revenant's fist and forward momentum slam into Gar Beck, knocking him a few steps back, but the attack fails to do any damage.
The GM; Guns of Canaan; Punch to Gar Beck; 1d6+1= 4
Beck gathers his footing and sprays a flurry of three bullets at the undead from his Gatling pistol, ending its unlife in a violent instant.
Jeremiah Jones steadies his rifle, taking aim at the Revenant that tripped over the taut rope, and now scrambles forward. A bullet through its neck and it moves no more. _________
The echoing reports from the guns dies down, and all is quiet on this grassy expanse of west Texas plain. But only for a moment. Of the knot of eight revenants that were caught in the dynamite's explosion four have stirred and have risen to their feet <those whose ST is more than 10>. They begin to amble ahead, two heading for Jones, the other two for Beck (the Seekers have Initiative).

Jeremiah Jones pulls the trigger on his repeating rifle and the first of the near-dead-again revenants drops to the grass. The second revenant closes to engage...(Roll for Init. Since your rifle is all ready drawn and in use, no -1 penalty to Init. If you wish to use your Tactician skill in case you don't win Init, make that roll as well, or I'll assume your okay should you lose Init on the first roll.)
The staccato bursts of Gar Beck's Gatling pistol punctures the nighttime air, and the torso of the first revenant approaching him is laid open. It takes two shots, but the second revenant drops to the ground as well.
End of round
Gar, you're free to do what you will. If you wish to fire a bullet at the revenant engaging Jones, do know it comes with some risk. A badly missed shot (a roll of 16-18) will hit Jones instead of the creature.

Gar, it looks like Jones is okay with you shooting toward the Revenant (and him), so I need your Init. roll as well. <Jones and Beck, you can both make your attack rolls at this time, too.> Init. roll-Revenant: 1d6 3
