Jones' eyes dart over the area, hopeful of getting some indication of Pike's position. He hears faint steps in the grass, near the horse. Is that the spot? It is, but Jones' shot misses badly. An instant later, the blow to Jones' face comes without warning, splitting his lip and smashing his nose. A spurt of blood fountains from the wounds, and the last standing Seeker is thrown backward, to the ground, barely clinging to consciousness. As Jones' vision clears, he sees Pike slowly reappearing. He stands behind his horse, seemingly using it as a shield. He grabs something from within a saddlebag. Pike's Spell: 3d6 5 Successful Magic Fist-3: 3d6-2 7Jones takes 7 damage; his ST is 2.

Jeremiah Jones lifts himself up and fires a wild shot toward Pike and his horse, but the bullet flies easily a foot over the hoodoo man's head. The horse bolts, but not before Pike has yanked a pistol free from the saddlebag. He takes aim at Jones and shoots... Pike's Shot: 3d6 11Damage to Jones: 2d6-1 5...the bullet slams into Jones, and the Seeker goes reeling into the strange calm of the afterlife. The dual threats from the lawmen over, there's only one thing left for the fallen-preacher to do. He walks over to the slumbering Gar Beck, and stands over him. "I told you boys you had no idea in all of Hell what you were gettin' into." He draws back the hammer on his gun and aims at Beck. The preacher laughs demonically, his voice echoing over the stillness of the vast Texas plain. That laugh is suddenly accompanied by the report of the last bullet fired in this adventure, which takes the life of Gar Beck. Your lives end tragically out here, under the stars of the unforgiving Weird Weird West. * * * * * * Well, gents, I'm afraid our game has come to an abrupt end. I do hope you found some enjoyment in it, even if it didn't end on a happy note. Sometimes the dice are with you and sometimes Lady Luck turns a blind eye.
I want to thank you for posting regularly and keeping the game moving, writing well, and being good players. I hope you enjoyed playing it as much as I enjoyed running it, but unfortunately, our time has come to an end.
Until next time...good gaming.
