The manuscript for "Punisher's Keep" is now complete, and going into playtesting. We have the cover art, and we area compiling the pieces art and preparing the board art. That's still a way to go, but at least the body is done.
Separately, we're hoping to have a bit of a surprise by Christmas. It's kind of a departure, so my guess is that some people will like it, and some people won't.
Anyway, that's just my 2cents. We've been such slugs that I don't know if anyone reads this anymore :-)

Uh. George.
How did you get to be a 1-star "New Member"? Aren't you part of Those In Power?

LOL--good question :-) Probably because I don't post enough :-)
So we've got the cover art for PK, which is a piece of artwork that I bought many, many years ago. It's a bit of a departure from the normal cover, but I like it. The board is in process. Unfortunately, my favorite piece artist hasn't responded to emails. (Mark Hill) So I'm not sure what we're going to do about pieces. I may have to illustrate some myself, but I like Mark's pieces the best.
We've playtested the adventure, and the navigation is error-free (I hope), and the logical streams are good. Now we still have to playtest all the combats. Between the two of you, is there any interest in playtesting the combats? The terms of playtesting are that you provide coments to the combats in terms of (1) even-sidedness, (2) interesting tacticalness. Keep in mind, each combat should give wounds to the party, but not necessarily kill a character.
Also, I recently purchased a submission, so hopefully, we'll have another game out by Christmas.

I don't know if question about interest in playtesting combats was directed at nukesnipe and myself or nukesnipe and someone else. If I was included in that, I'm honored. Yes, I would be interested! I'll try not to slow down the march toward publication. This is one of my busy-times-of-the-year.

Platimus, can you please email me at "gdew@responsenetworking.com"?
How much time do you have? Would you have time to play through it and write comments?

George,
I need to bow out of play testing if you are looking at a December release. I'm positively swamped right now, and it's only going to get worse in October. I might be able to proofread something for you, but a detailed note-taking, walk down every path play through is more than I can promise to accomplish in the near future.

Hey, friends,
Been a long time!
Everybody goes through personal stuff, so I am not going into details and begging for the violins. Basically over the last year my family business went under (for many reasons) and I have been trying to start over. Gaming fell by the wayside.
I really should have been stopping by here and keeping everyone in the loop - my apologies. I see that a bunch of you guys have sent me private messages, asking if everything is OK. I really appreciate that.
My previous DCG projects came to a halt as all my gaming did, but the last month I have jump-started an old idea I had for three linked but stand alone adventures, each of which could be played in a two or three hour evening. I am completing them now. The idea is to be ready by Halloween, and we will release two adventures at the same time - George's Punisher's Keep, and my new adventure anthology, Echoes of the Old Ones.
Over the next week, I'll be cleaning up around here and responding to PMs and posts. I am unemployed but somehow still short on time! Ha! Also I need to figure out how to do a pdf once and for all...
Anyway, I appreciate all of your kind thoughts and, as always, your support over the years. I hope you are all doing well!
Bret
