They do not make an appearance in any of our adventures. Given that those have a copyright of 2005, I think they were done either for variety among your heroes and villains, or to be used with some of the old TFT adventures. There were some in Treasure of the Golden Unicorn, and maybe in Treasure of the Silver Dragon - can't quite recall, been a long time since I went through that one.

cool! i've got some ideas for them! or at least their likenesses. i thought Toltec was a fictional version of Aztec but i just looked it up and there were an actual Native American culture. I may write something about them one day...
The Anultecs A primitive island people discovered in the new world across the Attala Sea. They are ruled by beings they consider to be gods. They call these gods The Anun-kai, which means 'snake gods' in their own tongue. The supreme Anun-kai is called Anun-Medusa, which means 'snake mother'. She is the queen and the Anun-kai are her spawn. No man has ever seen her and lived to tell but there are some Anultec scrolls which depict her as having the lower body of a large snake and the upper body of woman whose head is covered with writhing, snake-like tentacles. It is written that any man that looks upon her will suffer a fate worse than death. (hehehe)
(Anun-kai is an alternative name for Snacas. I derived the name from 'the annuniki' in Sumerian myth. I wanted something with the same feel as Yuan-Ti from D&D.)
