Enyeto's tomahawk seems to bounce off the scales of the serpent, but he moves forward to press the attack, ready to strike with both weapons now.
[Blackjack, I put some thoughts on two-weapon attacks in the LAW forum - check it out. As mentioned there, I will try the +1 to DX for each strike when using tomahawks in each hand - but this is relative to the 4/DX only. PM me if you want more clarification. But essentially, instead of rolling 4/DX against 12 you will be rolling against 13. This is to show the difference between light, medium and heavy weapons, and reflect the more historical style of using 2 lighter weapons.]
Mundy's arrow sinks into the coils of one of the trio of snacas, but it rolls toward you seeming unaffected.
As Norx exits the tavern, he takes a quick glance back at the Broken Cask, sitting undisturbed and drinking. The dwarf has gotten up and gone to inspect the untouched mugs the tigrans had before them...
[Once Norx gets a chance to act we will have the snacas' turn.]

[Also, friends, to make it a little easier to visualize positions, I will have a post under the "Current Character Status" thread that shows the opponents in the current combat. This will show wounds taken and relative position.]

[Ok, my friends, I hate to let things bog down. We'll move on - your characters lose track of Norx in the heat of the battle. Taketoshi, don't worry, when you get a chance to post again we'll get Norx back in the thick of it. Sorry, I know I said a casual pace, but I don't want this to wither on the vine! ]
Snaca Turn 1
Snaca A strikes at Enyeto with his cutlass - and the blade whistles over the youth's head! invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3133076/
Snaca B moves to Mundy - he will be adjacent and able to attack next turn.
Snaca C readies his bow.
Snaca D counterattacked Kahnmahtt, so is done for this turn.
The other five nearby snacas (two in Mother Sara's, three nearby in the courtyard, see CCS thread) act outside your immediate attention.
[It is now your party's Turn 2 - go ahead and post your actions.]
Besides the wounded snaca facing Kahnmahtt and the two in Mother Sara's, you see three besetting two lightly armored warriors near the tavern [less than a turn of movement away - ie Enyeto and Mundy].
Tembo bursts into the tight room to see the two snacas destoying the boxes and vials on the shelves and the counter. He does not see Mother Sara initially. One of the snacas looks up as Tembo's mace smashes down hard on its shoulder [previous roll in reply #41, 8 hits-1=7].

Reynaldo, seeing Tembo go into Mother Sara's yells out, "But a moment my friend! I must aid a newly found ally!" If Kahnmahtt's assailant is nearby Reynaldo strikes at it: invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3133084/3d6-1;1d6 → [3,4,3,-1] = (9) 3d6-1;1d6 → [1] = (1) Bonus to hit (included as -1) (An accurate but weak strike) ---- If possible, Tembo will maneuver so that he can see into Mother Sara's fortune telling room. "Mother Sara, are you safe?" If she is being attacked, he'll disengage and go in there. Otherwise, he'll continue on the one he wounded. //invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3133089/ 3d6; 1d6+2 → [5,2,5] = (12) 3d6; 1d6+2 → [2,2] = (4) Bonus to damage included (Argh! Just missed!)

[Lord Inar, Tembo already acted this turn - I did not make it clear. Since he was too far away to act on the snacas on Turn 1, he moved. The attack he rolled before I transposed for his Turn 2 action. So he has already acted in Turn 2, moving in and striking; the rest of the party needs to catch up. Apologies for not being clear.]
Reynaldo's thrust is this time turned aside by glinting scales!
[Edit: hey, thanks for posting that link to your invisible Castle player page! That makes things easy!]

Rrowullh takes his next shot at the snaca confronting Khanmahtt. This better aimed shot hits the snaca solidly, and ichor flows from the arrow wound. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3133331/ 3d6-1; 1d6 [3,4,1,-1] = (7) 3d6-1; 1d6 [4] = (4) "My arrow has flown true. Khanmahtt GO! The Macer has followed the snakes alone! To his aid"

"NO Brrotherr, the snakes have bows. That one will be my meat!" Sidestepping the foe in front of him, Khanmahtt charges the snaca that readied the bow. (from the description, Snaca C (with the bow) was far enough away for a pole weapon charge, but close enough to reach in one turn. I rolled with skill applied "to hit" and rolled damage as a charge. If that doesn't apply, just subtract one of the dice.) invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3133368/3d6-1; 2d6+2 [1,6,2,-1] = (8) to hit 3d6-1; 2d6+2 [6,3,2] = (11) damage Khanmahtt's spear hits the snake man full in the torso. (unless he dodges or otherwise slithers away.)

"I see what Khanmahtt means, the snakes can't dodge arrows. Let's keep the advantage. Rreynahlldoh! Go to your companion's aid. My bow if of no use in those close quarterrs. We'll stop more from entering the shop."

OOC: Bret I would like to continue to attack with just one tomahawk. Using the second as a parrying tool. When I can gain more skill then I will shift to two. If that is cool with you.

[That is totally cool, Mike. The only bugaboo is that we do not have any rules for parrying with an off-handed weapon. We could say it blocks one pointof damage like a small shield, but then it would be better than a small shield, since you could swith off and attack with it.
So we'll try this for a few combats and see what happens: if you want to use the second tomahawk to parry, anybody attacking you will be at -1 to DX. That may be more powerful, but we'll playtest it and see.
Once you and Mundy (and hopefully Norx) make your attacks, I'll post a summary of the party's turn 2 actions and then we'll move to Snaca Turn 2.]

wow just read what I wrote forgot a couple of words. I was trying to type and pay attention to something else. I can't multi-task. should read: "Enyeto follows through and buries his tomahawk into the snaca's belly.

We could say it blocks one pointof damage like a small shield, but then it would be better than a small shield, since you could swith off and attack with it. You could just have it only block one point of damage for one attack (character's choice). That way it's very similar, but not as effective since the character is focusing the defense on just one opponent.
