I realize it is still affecting people and ares as I write this - I hope everyone is OK. We had wind and rain and flooding here in coastal Virginia, but it was not near as bad as any other hurricanes we have had. Never lost power this time, either. We did dodge the direct hit, though. Some of the others on this board were not so lucky, I believe.
We hope everyone is well!

We fared well here in B-more, at least where I live. The preventive measures I put in place this summer held. The only damage I have to repair is a torn porch screen. Fortunately I live "high" enough not to get flooded.

Is everyone surviving/avoiding these crazy winter storms?

Is everyone surviving/avoiding these crazy winter storms? Surviving. 7 inches of ice and snow Tuesday-Wednesday pretty much shut everything down, but now our second thaw in two weeks is warming everyone up. I was one of the lucky ones that didn't lose power. I know some areas of the east coast are still getting it, but the worst in my neck of the woods seems to have passed.

70s today. Time to get out and stretch. I'll be swimming in no time.
