Most Space adventures provide you with money and excess weapons, but generally nothing to do with it at the end. I thus provide a shopping list of 'ordinary' gear. The special/ odd items you can buy inside adventures sometimes are deemed to be rare-hence you can only buy these when directed by an adventure.
You can sell unwanted stuff for 10% of cost between adventures (modified by merchant skill vs. opposing merchant with 11 total). So:
Armour:
Flak Vest 400 Cr 3/1 (Custom Fitted 2000 Cr 3/0) Landing Suit 1000 Cr 3/1 (Custom Fitted 5000 Cr 3/0) Space Suit 500 Cr 1/1 (Custom Fitted 2500 Cr 1/0) Battledress 10000 Cr 8/1 (custom Fitted 50000 Cr 8/0)
Weapons:
Energy Weapon reload Cr 50 Slugthrower reload Cr 20
Pistol 2d6-1 F10 Cr 400 ST 8 Laser Pistol 2d6+2 F10 Cr 1000 ST 6 Phaser (F) 3d6 F17 Cr 1000 ST 6
SMG (2A) 2d6-1 F10 Cr 300 ST 8 Assault Rifle (2A) 2d6+1 F10 Cr 300 ST 9 Rifle 2d6+1 F10 Cr 250 ST 9 LMG (3A) 2d6+1 F10 Cr 1000 ST 11 Shotgun 3d6 F15 Cr 400 ST 10
Blaster 3d6 F17 Cr 1000 ST 9 Laser Rifle 2d6+2 F10 Cr 1000 ST 6
Dagger 1d6//1d6+2 Cr 40 - Hatchet 1d6+1 Cr 60 ST 9 Stun Baton 1d6/1d6F Cr 100 ST 9 Fire Axe 1d6+3 Cr 120 ST 12 Blades etc use Fantasy Cost x 4
Fine weapons Cost x 5 and are +1 DEX to hit.
Frag Grenade(T,X) 3d6 Cr 50 Flashbang (X) Cr 50
Other PPC - F16 Cr 400 - Quick Stitch - - Cr 250 heals 3 Med Booster - - Cr 400 heals 5
I assume characters automatically have a first aid kit in order to use medical skill so lets not worry about that.

I love stormtroopers, I don't know what their armour is made of, but I would like to add to your list
Duralloy Suit 2000 Cr 4/2
You can call it whatever your want: stormtrooper, ceramic, plasti-steel...
I think the LTS can use an intermediate armour between Landing suit and Battle armour...

Making the stormtrooper armour in several grades from 0/0, 3/2 or 4/2 sounds great.
I wouldn't want to be issued 0/0 though...

I wouldn't want to be issued 0/0 though... i wouldn't either - but i wouldn't put it past that evil Empire. i mean, it's mostly for show anyway (i think). with the morale-boosting propaganda that it's all high-quality stuff, it's funny to think that some of it may not be more than the sci-fi equivalent of "spirit paint"! I just remembered another theory I had a long time ago regarding the not-so-blaster-resistant stormtrooper armor. Maybe it's a hold-over from a bygone day where the enemy used swords - made from a material that doesn't cut or puncture easily but melts like butter. Not a smart choice against blasters and "sun-swords" but this was not my favorite theory/explanation. Still, it would be cool to have some armors that are effective against energy weapons and others that are only effective against "primitive" weapons. Energy-shields and personal force-fields vs the solid stuff.

Spinning off of the idea of different types of armors, I thought of the force-shields from Dune. It makes primitive weapons relevant. If that's the type of space environment you want your campaign to have, then go for it.

In both Dune and Star Wars, I think they were called "personal shields". However, I wish to reserve that term to make room for a different device that more closely resembles the primitive shield. A personal force-field device would be worn on the body somewhere (perhaps the belt) and it's field would encompass the entire body. An "energy shield" would be a device worn around the fore-arm that generated a saucer-shaped field.

I don't remember them from Star Wars. I haven't seen a Star Wars movie after the abomination that "starred" Jar Jar Binks. Horrible! (And this from someone who had (and might still have) the comic books from the first movie through (and perhaps beyond) the Return of the Jedi. I also enjoyed the trilogy by Timothy Zahn with Grand Admiral Thrawn.(Did I spell it correctly?)
Getting back to our thread...in Dune (the book) there were also demi-force-shields that only covered one side of the body. Another (nasty) side effect could be the explosive reaction when shields come into contact with certain things like specific energy sources, i.e. negative feedback loop.

To be honest, I don't remember any type of personal/energy shield from the Star Wars movies or novels. Never touched a comic. However, they had personal/energy shields in the Jedi Knight series of video games. Never read the Dune books either - just saw the various movies. I realize now that my thinking may have also been influenced by Stargate-SG1. A couple of the system-lords had a personal force field that energy weapons and bullets could not penetrate. Slower moving objects could though. I don't think I'd want to wear one if it could be remotely detonated. Would be neat to see O'Neill blowup a system-lord this way though.

I just got my copy of Void Station 57, the landing suits listed there are 5/1.
So I got my wish -- an armour that is between 3/1 and 8/1.

I've endured all the post-Jar-Jar films. At least there were no personal shields. Personal shields are a computer RPG thing. That is, for games where like D&D have growing piles of hitpoints so people can get shot multiple times but not die. I don't know if they make it into the cartoon series or not.
