For those who got in las time, or who missed out, the Return of Mr. Bones is up and running!
I was very happy with the last one, so for those who are looking to expand their armies for relatively little money (right now just over a dollar a figure), check it out:
As of this moment, it has been going for almost an hour and 15 minutes and is over $300,000 raised.

Yeah... I'm in. I don't know what happened! My wallet just flew out of my back pocket and said "You MUST do this!" (and I've only painted 8 of the original Bones so far!)

Marc,
Did you prime the figures before painting? I have washed most of mine to get the mold release agent off, and been reading about people's use of primer. People seem to be doing different things including putting a wash on as a primer. Lots of advice on what not to use as primers, as well.

I haven't really primed them, but I might, just to use less of the regular paint, especially on the bigger ones. I'm pretty proud of the cyber-gorilla I painted (for me anyway, and yes I will post a pic of it soon!) which I didn't prime, but was primarily one color, so that was sort of a "base coat." I definitely did wash them all in soap and water to get the release agent off.
