Carmichael is a suburb of Sacramento. There's an AWESOME game and model shop called Viking Hobbies that's been there almost 40 years. It's a little hole-in-the-wall shop, but if you ever get the chance to stop in, I heartily recommend that you take it! Jessica is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
Well, I grew in S. Oregon. To which I have recently returned to live at. After not living here for over 30 years, most of that up near Seattle. So anytime I was close to Sacramento, I was because I was on I-5, racing up the freeway at 3 O'clock in the morning. Having left LA after my childhood friend I wrote of earlier, got off work at 4:00 in the afternoon, driving all night we got into our small hometown at about 7 the next morning. Sleeping until mid afternoon, Party with old friends that night. An drive back on Sunday. Making it back to my ship down in S.D., just in time to go to report to duty. Crazy I know. Did that one weekend a month for about two years or so. What made it worth it, was we would always pick up something each time we made the trip. That more then payed for traveling cost, etc. That something was our good friend Mary Jane, if you know what I mean!
