Sorry for the Stupid Question (Tm). In paragraph 000 (no spoilers here) the three sky pirates are presented as: - Sky Pirates (3): ST11(9) DX11 IQ10; Cutlass 2d6-2.
My question is, what is the (9) after ST11? Plenty of stat blocks don't have them, but some do and I can't remember or find anything in the rules. Many thanks *prepares to kick himself...*

If you have to fight these pirates, you'd start deducting damage from 9, instead of 11. 11 being their ST when they are fully healthy. I don't own this title, but I'd assume these pirates were involved in some skirmish before meeting up with your characters, and suffered two damage. Hope this helps!
