Hey, nevandar,
Thanks for your business!
I googled that third party adventure and found it. Very interesting! Looks like it was originally written for Swords and Wizardy (an Open Gaming License clone of original D&D) to showcase their grappling rules, then was expanded for 5th edition D&D, and then via the kickstarter was being rewritten and expanded for GURPS/Dungeon Fantasy. In addition, they have their own rule system which they ran a kickstarter for previously. That's a lot of rules systems!
Once he smoke clears from the TFT kickstarter, maybe there will be some more dialogue with SJG. This certainly shows that they are open to the idea of a third party doing something with them. The main factor here might be their intentions with TFT, if they want to keep it all in house or not.

I really do hope Steve embraces the small community around TFT. Hmm.... I wonder if the TFT kickstarter is a success, if this S&W/D&D5/Dungeon Fantasy adventure will be converted to TFT

Well, in what I think may be a positive note, it seems that Steve Jackson Games is going to do a limited license thing that allows fans to publish, via Warehouse 23, new content for TFT/Cidri (and get paid something for their trouble). While that won't be particularly relevant to DCG I don't think, it does show that Steve is willing to get new material from whatever source, and get it on the street. I'd say that bodes well for DCG being able to work with SJG for new content.
I also just want to second that previous comment about DCG being a "reflexive buy." That's exactly right. I've loved all your stuff so far, and Punisher's Keep and Echoes of the Old Ones are just as fantastic (frankly, even a bit MORE fantastic) than all the others. Keep 'em coming guys! I LOVE me some DCG's work.

Jeff,
I agree it is very interesting SJG is doing a limited license. Seems like what Paizo and WOTC are doing now. And yeah, I don't think it will be directly relevant to us, other than Steve's relative tolerance of us. George and I haven't had a chance yet to rap about it, but we will this weekend.
Thanks for the kind words about the company. We've seen you put in a good word for us in several places, and it is very much appreciated, Jeff.
Glad you like PK and EOO! We're going to keep trying to put out quality adventures.
Bret

The Kickstarter is in its final hours. Might be a good idea to get in on it while you still can! / There is certainly a mountain of TFT booty at both the $60 and $110 levels.

It looks like it's official and SJG is going to release Melee/Wizards as a package. This is great for us since our adventures are going to appeal to his (wide) audience!

Hey, taeblewalker! Do you mean beyond the combined pocket game that came out with the boxed set from the Kickstarter? Is there some recent official announcement you are referring to? I did not see anything on their forums...

I forgot where I saw it online. Maybe it was old news, but it looked to me like a new announcement.

That's a restock. I got one for Christmas and I know it's been listed for much longer.

Sadly, SJG doesn't really have a wide audience for anything other than Munchkin anymore. The TFT re-release fan community is small, though enthusiastic. At least there's enough interest for continued support (such as the current Kickstarter).
