But of course you can rap about it here! One of the defining moments of my youth is seeing Star Wars in '77, 11 years old. So bring it!

I was 3 years old when I saw it in 77, so it's practically embedded in my DNA. Ever since The Phantom Menace came out, I get all the spoilers I can before seeing a Star Wars film so I can process and get comfortable with the things I don't like about it before going into the theater. Prevents me from fixating while watching and allows me to just enjoy the ride. That said, I won't speak of Jedi any further. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone. Plus, I'm not a good rapper  That said, HURRY UP AND SEE IT! I was not comfortable at first with the spoilers I read but absolutely loved the movie. |

I was 2nd in line for "Return of the Jedi" in 1983. (My friend was first.) I had (probably still do) all of the comics from 1977 to 1983ish. With that said, I haven't seen a Star Wars movie since that abomination called Episode 1, the Phantom Menace. I would be excited if they make movies of the Timothy Zahn trilogy with Grand Admiral Thrawn.

I don't think that's gonna happen. It could but they've over-written the stuff that takes place after ROTJ. However, there is an animated Star Wars series called "Star Wars: Rebels". The show takes place about 5 years before ANH. The show is on it's mid-season break of it's 4th and final season. They did reintroduce Thrawn to canon in season 3 and he is still alive and searching for the Rebels at present. This season, they reintroduced his bodyguard/assassin Ruhk the Nohgri. The show airs on Disney XD. I think it's on all the major streaming services as well...at least until Disney launches their own streaming service later this coming year.

Episodes VII-VIII-IX are like Episodes I-II-III for me, don't care for them. The only new movie I enjoyed was "Roque One".

I've seen VII and VIII, but not IX yet. I wanted to like them more than I did.
Rogue One was my favorite of the new episodes. Solo turned out better than I expected, but still not crazy about it.
