Our free society exists because of the sacrifices of our fellows in the military. As we debate what is fair to demand of people here in our great nation, I want to acknowledge those who put everything they are on the line for the rest of us.
I know George and Scott and maybe a few others on the forum are current or ex-military. You make us all proud.
Especially, thanks to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. You are remembered.

Thank you. It was a privilege to serve.
For those who don't know me, I served 24 years in the US Navy, retiring as a Commander (LT Colonel equivalent) in July 2008. I can tell you first hand that our country can never repay the sacrifice our young Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, and Guardsmen (National and Coast) make. It's amazing to watch wet-behind-the-ears street punks turn into the defenders of our freedoms. It was an honor to serve with them.
Regards,
Scott Chisholm
