The current rules are a wonder of terse and dense writing. Still, we have added a few house rules to spice (and complicate) things up. For weapons we have added some traits to differentiate them. We also added a "Hammer" as a weapon for Maces and such... it seems to fill a hole... and makes a nice Dwarvish weapon at that Stength level.
Here are the traits:
Brutal- Negates 1pt of armor. Armor Piercing- Negate 2pt of armor. Reach- May attack two spaces away. This includes over an intervening friendly combatant. R2- takes two turns to reload. R3- takes three turns to reload. Thrusting – Extra d6 against tackle (Take Down)
