"Campaigns of General George S. Patton" is the very first wargame in my collection, the battles detailed are the invasion of Sicily, the breakout from Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. The system is very simple, units are just Infantry or Tanks, movement is from point to point along road lines - a few paths are suitable only for Infantry, while interwoven card draws set the tempo of battle.
I forget who had asked me this, but at some point we will be re-doing BOB. BOB currently is kind of fictional, unlike the battles in Guadalcanal or Battleaxe. So when we redo BOB, the battles (scenarios) will better reflect historic units, positions, and conditions that took place during that winter.
