With a savage snarl of pain, Khanmahtt extricates himself from the Orc's spear and retreats behind Tembo and Enyeto as best as he can. He draws the vial of Mashu from his belt pouch in an already trembling paw and gulps the healing potion down. Rrowullh does his best to ignore his brother's pain but a growl builds in his throat. Building as he aims, the fierce sound escapes as his arrow launches towards the Orc Archer he targeted before. [Applying skill to damage 3d6; 1d6+1 [5,1,3] = (9) 3d6; 1d6+1 [3,1] = (4) That's more like it. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3346284 ]

PLAYER TURN 1 Reynaldo immediately reacts "Khanmatt, Rrowullh, focus and let the others protect you. Tembo, Shadout, Enyeto move in there." Any sense the orcs had of controlling the battle from a surprise standpoint quickly evaporate as Reynaldo regroups and directs the team. [Applies Leadership to Tembo's to hit.] "No!" Tembo sees the tremendous blow Khanmatt received and realizes the extent of the damage. He rushes up to protect Khanmatt, putting his skill into accuracy, seeing that the orcs are unarmored, and with Reynaldo's assistance manages to hit. [4 damage - 2(large shield)=2 hits to Orc A.] Enyeto sees his friend take the blow. He immediately throws a tomahawk at the Orc attacking Khanmatt. The tomahawk seems to fly more like a bird than a weapon. It hits the Orc squarely and bites hard. [4 damage-2=2 hits to Orc A.] After throwing one of his tomahawks, Enyeto draws two others and prepares to face any orc that may wish to die. Shadout holding his staff in his left hand, makes a punching motion with his right hand toward the closest orcs. (magic fist-3) The orcs are knocked back by an invisible fist that struck with the power of a sledgehammer. [8 damage to Orcs A and D; 8-2=6 hits to Orc A, 8 hits to Orc D.] With a savage snarl of pain, Khanmahtt extricates himself from the Orc's spear and retreats behind Tembo and Enyeto as best as he can. He draws the vial of Mashu from his belt pouch in an already trembling paw and gulps the healing potion down. [Restores 3 hits.] The lancing pain immediately subsides somewhat. Rrowullh does his best to ignore his brother's pain but a growl builds in his throat. Building as he aims, the fierce sound escapes as his arrow launches towards the Orc Archer he targeted before. [4 damage -0 =4 hits.] Striking true, the orc falls dead, between the two arrows and Shadout's magic. Mundy eyes the orcs and takes aim at one of the spearman [Orc B]. The shaft strikes true and solid. [10 damage-2=8 hits]. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3346386/

Feeling the potion beginning to take affect, Khanmahtt returns to Tembo's side and thrusts his spear at the Orc that had impaled him (Orc A). The lingering pain makes his arm unsteady and the point goes wide. Khanmahtt roars in a combination of pain and frustration! [applying skill to hit, rolled a 13. Missed by 2! This just ain't his encounter] 3d6-1;1d6+2 = [6,2,6,-1] = (13) 3d6-1;1d6+2 = [2,2] = (4) invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3349167/]

Rrowullh planned to shoot at the remaining archer, but he sees his brother return to the fray and hears the roar of pain. Fearing his brother has been wounded again, "Khan-you-fool-NO!" Rrowullh shifts his aim to the Spearman facing his brother and let's an arrow fly. The arrow get's past the spearman's shield and sinks deep. [It took too much to accomplish, but Orc A should be a goner]. [applying skill to damage - gotta drop this bastard before he counterattacks again. rolled a 12 to hit and 4 points of damage - yes. Two kills shots for Rrowullh.] 3d6;1d6+1 - [4,3,5] = (12) 3d6;1d6+1 - [3,1] = (4) invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3349176/

Enyeto charges Orc (C). The Orc raises his shield to defend himself. Enyeto takes his left tomahawk and strides the top of the shield hooking it and pulling it down as the hatchet in his right finds orc flesh. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3351249/ Rollled a 9. The hatchet bites deep in the orc's shoulder and chest. (Bret I'm going to add my skill to damage.) invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3351254/ 7 +1 for skill (8 total) The orc howls in pain. Enyeto yells at him in Orcish, "Yeild or I will feast on your heart tonight." Shadout backs up behind the group. He kneels grasping at the arrow buried in his right shoulder. Shadout pulls the "whining stone out" and begins to rub it. Momentarily putting aside the pain.

Reynaldo rushes the weakened orc (A) and strikes throwing his effort into the strike, but falls just short. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3353776/3d6-1;1d6 → [3,4,5,-1] = (11) 3d6-1;1d6 → [5] = (5) Strike with rapier, skill into attack. [Hmmm... I think we're getting a bit mixed up, because I thought Khanmahtt and Rrowullh targeted Orc A and finished him off this turn.
Orc C stabbed at Tembo last turn, so it would make sense for him to try and whack that one. Enyeto put some damage on Orc C this turn and is trying to intimidate him into surrender.
Orc B is hurt pretty good but is bearing down on Mundy. Orc B Missed Mundy last turn, but who knows what's next. Maybe Reynaldo tried to hit Orc B?
Orc E the Archer is currently unmolested, but nailed Shadout pretty good last turn.]

I figured I couldn't get to orc e being the bowman, but I could be confused. Not that it really mattered since both missed!

PLAYER TURN 2
Reynaldo rushes the weakened orc (A) and strikes throwing his effort into the strike, but falls just short.
Tembo follows with a similar strike on Orc A, with skill in attack and misses in exactly the same way (by 1!)
With a bloddy gurgle, the orc falls.
Enyeto charges Orc (C). The Orc raises his shield to defend himself. Enyeto takes his left tomahawk and strides the top of the shield hooking it and pulling it down as the hatchet in his right finds orc flesh. The hatchet bites deep in the orc's shoulder and chest. The orc howls in pain. Enyeto yells at him in Orcish, "Yeild or I will feast on your heart tonight." Khanmahtt's eyes go wide with surprise when he hears the Orc Speak come from Enyeto.
Shadout backs up behind the group. He kneels grasping at the arrow buried in his right shoulder. Shadout pulls the "whining stone out" and begins to rub it. Momentarily putting aside the pain. A high note unlike any you have heard before rings in the ears of all; its currnet intensity startles, but does not hurt.
Mundy drops his bow and draws his cutlass.

Rrowullh's relief at seeing the Orc spearman fall is short lived, as the thunk of the arrow hits,"Mundy!" Mumbling to himself, "That Archer's aim is too true. Let him think on this." Rrowullh notches another arrow and launches it towards the Archer. It hits a glancing blow, to some effect. [skill to hit, rolled a 12. 3d6-1;1d6 ¨ [1,6,6,-1] = (12) 3d6-1;1d6 ¨ [2] = (2) invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3356954/
