Some games have statues animating when encountered, I can't find a spell for animation (I've been watching "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad"). Any thoughts? Input? TFT only has a spell for reanimating Zombies.

I'd look at TFT's Earth/Stony/Metal Elementals. Something like the "Statue of Kali" might be set as a baseline ST that isn't provided when simply forming an elemental out of the ground itself, with additional attacks based on its form (in the case of Kali, multiple sword attacks). It isn't mentioned in TFT, but fall damage would be a reasonable way to get around armor for such a being.

On the TFT FB Group someone asked for Kali stats specifically, and my attempt:
St 15, Dx 10, Iq 8, 6 attacks at 2d6-2. Defend leaves only 3 attacks. Side hexes count as front hexes, the rear hex counts as a side hex. Natural defenses block 5 hits, but do nothing against fall damage. Kali receives double fall damage. Any fall counts as the minimum fall distance for damage to begin.
If we're assuming Summon Elemental is involved, and the material is stone (I thought it was bronzish on my first attempt...) you need the statue wielding 6 cutlasses (some might argue they should be 2d6+1 bastard swords due to their size, I'm of the mind that this critter is already a bit difficult) and to spend 10 ST/mana to get something like: ST 15, DX 11, IQ 8 Natural defenses block 4 hits. I'd personally apply the mechanics noted above.
