I wasn't quite happy with my first attempt so here's an updated version of the character card above. I was hoping to just replace the old image with a new one, but I couldn't. You can tell I like messing around with photoshop. Attachments:

Looks good, Julianus. One idea---maybe replace the notebook and pen with something more medieval, a feather and parchment, or scroll? I can't really see what's under "Items" but if that's a radio, maybe find something to replace it. Just my thoughts, but overall nice job!

Thanks for the compliments and suggestions. My intent was to create a card themed for use with all 3 rule sets (LAW,LTS, and LUW). That's why there's a phaser rifle crossed with a gladius in the weapons, and a ST tricorder and a FS DRD as part of the "items". If I'm feeling ambitious, I might make a separate themed card for each rule set.

Thanks again, Julianus. The all-purpose nature of the character sheet is not a bad thing. I agree with vlad it would be cool to have themed ones, but at the same time I dig the crossed gladius and phaser rifle!
Thanks again!
Bret

vlad... ask and you shall receive. Is this card more to your liking ? The notes have a scroll and quill. The weapons have a blade and a bow. The items have gold, a book, a coil of rope and a turkey leg. Next on deck is a Time and Space card. Attachments:

It looks fantastic, Julianus! Nice touch with the turkey leg. I look forward to your T&S card.

Say,
Can I use this to update my Excel sheet I made a while ago? (the one that's in the downloads section)

Say, Can I use this to update my Excel sheet I made a while ago? (the one that's in the downloads section) - Marc Sure, feel free to do what you wish with it. Its there everybody to use and abuse. I'm working on the LTS version. The only image I can think of to represent skills is a "futuristic" Da Vinci "Man". Does anyone else have a suggestion for what other image I could use that would represent skills ? I just deleted my first iteration of the character card above since it has been superceeded by a later version.

Would a spaceship, indicating piloting and navigation skill, suffice?

Perhaps a computer keyboard? A star trek-style navigation console?

Here's the LTS card that I've come up with. I decided to give the navigation console image idea to represent skills. I hope it isnt too dark. On this card we have a moon landing footprint for move, a fs peackeeper helmet for armor, a Zorg ZF-1 for weapons and a navigation console for skills, and for items we have BSG cards, ST universal translator, an SG:U kino and controller, and a fs peacekeeper scanner. Take a close look at the notes image and see if you can guess what IT is ? Next up is the LUW card. Attachments:

My eyes can't make out those faded images, but it looks like a Blackberry with rune-icons?!?
