Hey, Morgan,
Thanks for posting this! I don't follow podcasts or videoblogs, for the most part, so I would have missed it.
I like this guy - not just because he gives us a thumbs up! He took some time to understand what he was talking about, and he seems to understand our vibe. He posted a good cross section of our covers, too - very glad to see Emerald Twilight there!
Very cool!
Bret

Morgan, thanks for pointing this out. As you say, it was a favourable review overall. However, I don't think he gave DCG the credit they deserve for both resurrecting TFT as LAW and, in my view, improving it in many ways. He also didn't highlight that that Metagaming and DCG have no connection (as Metagaming were a commercal enterprise, whereas DCG are fans of the system who are endeavouring to keep the flame alive), or that TFT had its own set of Microquests, since the examples he gave were all DCG adventures. To me, it seems that Metagaming/TFT equates to a proprietary system (cf Windows), whereas DCG is the equivalent of an open-source system (cf UNIX or LINUX) - I know which I prefer! I was glad to see the prominence he gave to the DCG website address so that people like me, who had despaired of ever seeing it again, can rediscover the pleasure that it can give you. Cheers Colin
