Hey all, It has been a long road, but Nicolas Gauthier's very imaginative adventure is now available! Upon the Wind takes you aboard a skyship, investigating floating islands in the sky as you try to make your way home! And, as usual in DCG adventures, there are those who do not want you to make it! Come and explore a strange vista in our latest release! www.darkcitygames.com/display.php?series=law&id=30As always, we thank everyone for their past, present, and future support! Bret!

This was exciting news but I was perturbed by the alert email - "After months of neglect and an almost certain death, Dark City Games is defying all odds". Anyone care to elaborate?
As for the iOS question - I'd quite like them that way, but found the UI for Oracle's Breath a bit clunky. I'm also worried that it loses the greatest feature of DCG adventures, which is the fact that the combats are done on a map (unless that's been added too).
I'd still encourage you to get the files up-loaded to DriveThruRPG or RPGNow. It would greatly widen your audience and the income is mostly profit as there is no physical product, packing or postage (or indeed any need for attention from a human being). For those wanting a physical product, they now offer POD too.
Finally, if there is some chance of DCG vanishing, I need to grab your games while I can. How many can I order at once before there's a bump in the postage? Are there any bundle deals?

For those wanting a physical product, they now offer POD too. Really hope this happens sometime. From DCG's point of view, get the DriveThru store set up and 10 years from now you'll still be getting sales without doing a thing. And for the fans the games will be available forever (well, not forever but I think DriveThru won't be going anywhere in a hurry). But I digress - great to see another release! 2015 has been a good year :-)

I wonder how many other adventures are in various stages of development...

Kudos to Dark City Games for their excellent customer service, again. I ordered Upon the Wind yesterday afternoon and got an e-mail this morning saying that it has shipped. Well done!!! Good luck for the future.

Hey, all,
Thanks for the support!
George was taking some dramatic license with the near death thing. It has been too long since we put out a game, he was playing around with that.
The pdf thing is true, that is part of the neglect. We need to get tat done.
The ios thing is something George and I have been talking about. I don't have the right kind of phone (old flip phone) so the technology is beyond me, but it would definitely have a combat map, one that you could zoom in and out and scroll around. One of the draws as we see it would be a persistent world beyond the adventures, where the npcs remember you. Still in the early planning stages, and I think we need to do a few other things first.
Araman, there are a handful in various stages of development. Nothing else is close, yet.
Thanks for the kind words, Ed!

Received my copy yesterday. Considering when I ordered it, DCG's response was quicker than the time it takes my son to walk from his room for dinner....
Beautiful game with an interesting premise and counter mix. Is it intended for 4 beginning characters? I couldn't find that in the booklet.
Now, if I could just find some time to push minis around....

Hey, Scott!
Thanks for your order!
Yes, the adventure is for four beginning characters. It seems that our crack editorial staff (um...me) has been remiss in important details like that. I am very sorry!

Thanks, Bret! I've a 4-day weekend coming up, so if I can get the yard done and dispose of my family, hopefully I'll get some gaming in.
Fat chance....

Just wanted to echo the Drivethru request..as an international buyer I would be more likely to buy all of your adventures if I could get them as pdf. I like physical copies bit hate dealing with shipping from the US. Heck, what I am paying on shipping I could have bought another adventure which is basically lost profit for you guys!

I would also buy a bunch in PDF because of shipping to Israel. As it is I happen to be heading to the states now and I'll scoop up several but when I'm back in Israel I'm not sure about shipping.
