have you ever considered releasing a monster manual for your fantasy system?

Hey, Jonathan1971,
We have considered it, and it has been requested many times. Frankly, we're kinda dumb for not doing it. The task would be a bit labor intensive, in going over our inventory and then needing to standardize things (some similar monsters in different adventures have different stats).
But it is a good idea that would give us a shot in the arm right now.
Sorry for the late reply, hope you are doing well!
Bret

My inner nerd says it would love something to use for a variety of solo play options meant for LAW...;-) In the meantime I can stick with various older TFT modules and other stuff I found.

I'd like to see this too. Would be great for generic one-off battles or arena type battles.

So a year late adding on to this, but I'd love it too ... and having consistency among creatures would be great too (The Raid on Cygnosa Sewer-Worms are geniuses compared to the ones in The Sorcerer's Manor...

Hey, tcarter, Welcome to the boards! Your first post and you have to beat me up! Heh! Still, there is much wisdom in this, and reviving the topic. Let me see if I can dust off the manuscript and see how far it had gotten before other forces stepped in... Bret

Sorry, no beating up intended! I've been working on spreadsheet collecting all the various TFT beasties from the core books, old magazine articles, microquests, etc., as well as the few Dark City modules that I have so it was fresh in my mind!

Heh! No worries, I was just joking. But I really do deserve a boot in the backsides on this and several other projects! Glad to have you here!

I believe SJG announced their 192 page TFT Bestiary is finished and formatted, Kickstarter to be opening up in August, with delivery before holidays. Obviously easy (fairly?) to convert to DCG, but if you guys came out with a monster manual Iām all in as well. Offer a Hardcover!š
New Release Update
By Steve Jackson May 10, 2023
News! News of new releases! Oh, joy unconfined!
Hexagram #11, which was Kickstarted, is fulfilling now.
The long-awaited Bestiary, which has been long-awaited so long that people think that's part of its name, went through the pre-mortem checking process today. It should go to press tomorrow. The Kickstarter is planned for late August, which will mean you won't have to wait very long to get it after you support. This is a mega-project, with a book AND cards AND counters. At last . . . lots more lore and stats on LOTS more "official" monsters.

Also, does anyone have Tome of Terrors & Treasures from Heros & Other Worlds? I'm looking to pick it up. I wish the HOW books were regular sized, however, not 6"x9".
