Greetings everyone, I am new to the forrum and relatively recent to the The Fantasy Trip thanks to DCG. For anyone interested I have a TFT Blog and will be featuring posts on DCG as well as The Legends Of The Ancient World Campaign I am going to kick off. After a chat with Bret about Legends I will be doing some additional world-building and really fleshing out Redpoint for our campagin. This is my attempt to take a group who has been playing D&D5e weekly for the last 4 years and sitting them down to play TFT. It will be fun and interesting to see how things go invite everyone all to join along. orderofthecrimsondie.blogspot.com/I wish to thank George and Bret for being such great guys. There passion for the game is very inspiring.

Hey, Crimson,
Welcome to the boards!
I have enjoyed reading your blog since stumbling over it a week or two ago. I am really looking forward to what you are going to do with your Redpoint campaign!

Thanks Bret. Should be fun letting the players run around Redpoint while building it into an important part of of the campaign. They do have a history of destroying cities though, ha ha. I will be letting the players flesh out a lot of the world between modules through emergent storytelling so I cant wait to see how the campaign takes shape.

Hi there Crimson!
I've recently joined the TFT community as well and have been checking out your blog. Your interview with George Dew was a pleasant read and very insightful. The links to the fantasy city and single-page dungeon generators were also very timely for me. Looking forward to new posts soon!

Just wanted to give a quick update on the blog. Things have been challenging as of late due to my wife and I both being out of work due to COVID. I have been doing a lot less gaming and a lot more LIFE-ING. But the gang is back together and we fully intend to continue with our Legends Campaign. We did run three mini-campaigns using various TFT inspired rules-sets. One using TFT rules, one using Blades & Black Magic and another using Legends rules. Hands down Legends won out for ease of use and elegance. It provides a great framework for building our own campaigns. I plan on being a lot more active on the blog in the upcoming weeks. Looking for work has kept me busy, but the handful of games have kept me sane while providing me with something else to occupy my mind with. I'm glad you like the generators. They have been of great use to me. Our group has transitioned away from Hex based battle-maps in favor of grid based as we have so many awesome maps in our collection what we wanted to use. I will be making a post in regards to this change to our gaming style in the next post on the blog. Cheers and it's great to know that people are checking out the blog.

I'm really glad you like the interview. Both George and Bret have been really supportive of my endeavors with the blog and it was awesome to have the chance to interview them. It's actually their adventures that really got me interested in playing TFT. They are really awesome. I have to admit I have not run them solo, but rather ran them for a group of players and they have played really well. They are really inspired books and I look forward to playing through more of them.

Hey, crimsond,
Glad to see you will be getting back to updating the blog. It is a nice read. Will you be posting about all three of those mini-campaigns?
Glad to hear you enjoyed using the Legends ruleset!
