I saw a product of yours entitled 'Little Black Book' released back in 2005 over at rpg-geek rpggeek.com/rpgitem/52258/little-black-bookWhat's happened to that and why isn't it with the rest of the 'Legends of the anceint world' series? I saw a few other things aswell like a snazzy front cover for orcs of the high mountains...

Hey Joe,
When we parted ways with Jerry four years ago, he took this dungeon crawl with him. He intends to re-release it when he gets his company started. So for now it is out of print and in limbo.

The snazzy cover for OHM was done for the free print copy we gave away our first year at Gencon. We actually lucked out for part of it, becasue each goodie bag (given to the first 26,000 attendees I think) had a copy of OHM along with map and counters and an abbreviated version of the rules. That year, three different companies also included a d6 with their logo as part of the goodie bag. So, each attendee got a copy of OHM and enough dice to play it. A lot of people took it back to their room and played it that night...leading to some nice sales the following day at the booth. (George, Bret, Kat, and I also gave away dice at the booth for people who bought more than one gamebook. The local dollar store here had multicolored blisters with 20 d6's so we had a bunch to give away...that led to some people playing and coming back the next day to pick up the rest of our line too...Good Times!) There were no other "complete" games that year in the goodie pack, so ours was the only one you could play right out of the bag. One other fun piece of trivia that boosted our egos a bit. Gencon didn't have a good system for tracking who had a bag and who didn't, so a lot of people took multiple bags and there weren't enough for everyone on Saturday that year ( ) All during Gencon, you would find discarded bags lying around with some of the stuff missing as people looted the collectible stuff and discarded the rest, including some free magic cards, plastic minis, and game supplements. Kat and I checked any discarded bag we came across and we didn't find a single discarded DCG game...so at least people were taking them home... A suggestion for George: perhaps the cover could be made available as a free download for those who want to have a nice print edition of OHM?

I saw the color cover for OHM as well. It would be great if that could be incorporated into an updated PDF. Just a thought...
