Played this several times before I made it all the way through. Found it to be a very difficult game to survive. Without giving any spoilers, I would recommend:
1) one or two characters with medic
2) A wizard is a must! Recommend healing spell, summon creature and fireball or lightning are also highly recommended. A 2nd wizard is not a bad plan. A good wizard will save your group from termination.
3) I used high level 40 point characters. Your armor is limited and you will take lots of damage so ST become important. Very tough battles and lots of them.
The game has a very creepy, demonic, zombie tone to it. It feels more like horror, not my favorite type of game, but it did allow me to cut loose with a high powered wizard character.
Everything is a fantasy fight, no normal encounters at all. I prefer more of a mix of realism and fantasy or a historical game, but if you like horror and pure fantasy, this is the game for you.
