[On a possibly related note, I just noticed that I have a Karma of -1 under my profile. Is that the exhalt/smite button? Who gave me a Smite? Did I hurt someone's feelings? 'Fess up! ]

4d6-1;1d6+1 ¨ [3,2] = (5) Bonus to hit [Lord Inar - your mace should have been d6+2, rather than the d6+1 you rolled - fixed it in this entry!]Thanks, I keep messing that up! Tembo is more of a combat monster than than I give him credit for!

[OK, since things are close to being over, I went ahead and had Mundy follow Enyeto and the tigrans.] SNACA TURN 6 Greatly wounded and without hope, the last snaca swings his cutlass, trying to take Reynaldo down with him. The blade sings through the air and Reynaldo, being of a slightly cooler head than Tembo decides to dodge, but steps into the strike nonetheless. "Damn, thing, will you not die?!" invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3150792/3d6 ¨ [6,5,2] = (13) The blade, yet again, bites Reynaldo but does little damage. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3148770/[3 hits-2 = 1 hit]

Yeah, Lord Inar, after I whined about it somebody must have given me a plus. In a way I was disappointed - it would be cool to get a -17 or something like that. Evidently, I can change it as a mod, it just struck me as funny that someone gave me the finger. No big deal.
More importantly - is Reynaldo going to take the hit or Dodge?

[OK, friends...Turn 7 actions. Reynaldo has Dodged, so Tembo, the tigrans, Enyeto and Mundy describe what you are doing. Tembo and the tigrans are close enough to attack the last snaca, Enyeto and Mundy are trailing and too far away to Enter Mother Sara's this turn, but they witnessed the snaca-mage being downed by Tembo.
Blackjack emailed me to say he will be off-line until tomorrow night. If everybody else posts their actions, we'll move forward with this turn and Enyeto will loot the bodies of those he has slain, as he indicated earlier.
And as usual, if there are any questions or you need clarification, just ask! And be sure to Smite me when you do it! ;D]

Tembo swiftly turns and goes back into Mother Sara's. "Thank you good friend for holding it in place for me" Tembo strikes at the snaca, but the slippery monster avoids him as well! 3d6-1; 1d6+2 → [5,4,5,-1] = (13) 3d6-1; 1d6+2 → [4,2] = (6) Bonus to hit invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3150986/

Rrowullh leaps past the fallen snaca mage and into the shop. He strikes at the remaining snaca and the point of his blade finds purchase in the scaly hide. "Purrhaps this will finish it."
(Rolled a 9 to hit, and a 5 to damage. Haven't figured out how to cut and paste on a touch screen.)

Khanmahtt drops his spear point to the base of the snaca mage's throat. "I've never seen one of these appear out of thin air. This one isn't dead. How do we bind this prisoner? My spear will stake him to the ground if he begins to move. What does it have in this satchel?" He shifts his grip on the spear so it stays in place as he begins to examine what the snake was carrying.

Indeed, the tigran's rapier finds the snaca's heart, and it sinks to the floor of Mother Sara's in a bloody heap. END OF COMBAT Khanmahtt drops his spear point to the base of the snaca mage's throat. Enyeto glances back at the snakemen he slew, but drops beside this one to rumage through the black satchel. A variety of metal and stone cannisters - there is writing on them, but the youth is illiterate. There are a few papers in the bag as well, again beyond his understanding. Mundy looks over the situation here and at the other end of the courtyard. The guardsman have rallied and are proceeding toward the stable, where the few surviving snacas fled to, and they have not emerged. As those outside look to the snaca mage and about the courtyard, a large man in chainmail and with a bloody sword walks to Mother Sra's. His gaze sweeps over you, but he says nothing as he goes inside.

As Tembo, Reynaldo, and Rrowullh stand over the last snaca, catching their breath, a man enters behind them. Tembo recognizes Lord Gareth; and he recognices Tembo.
"Is Mother Sara alive, boy?"

"I don't know," Tembo stammers, still shaken by his own actions in the battle. He rushes to the back room to see if Mother Sara is there.
"The one at the entrance," Reynaldo points with his rapier, "left the back room covered in blood. Let us follow my companion to see for ourselves." Reynaldo puts his hand on Gareth's shoulder to direct him to the back room. He doesn't look in himself, but rather says, "and now good sir, I have erstwhile business back at the tavern to attend to." He bows briskly and then goes back to the tavern to see if the men who wanted to hire him are still there.

Tembo pushes aside the curtain toward the back room, and sees Mother Sara lying in a bloody heap on the floor. he drops to her side, and sees she has taken a head wound from a cutlass. Her skull is not broken, but here is a lot of blood and it is still flowing. She needs immediate medical attention...
[Lord Inar - Tembo must make a 3/IQ against Medic to save her life. While there may be more helpful herbs about the shop, he does not have time to go through the wreckage. However, there is enough at hand to grant an additional +1 in addition to his skill levels for this check.]
Lord Gareth knocks Reynaldo's hand off his shoulder, affronted. "You presume familiarity with your betters." He then pushes through the curtain and watches Tembo's ministrations with a scowl.

Tembo rushes to her side and quickly administers the necessary pressures and herbs to Mother Sara to keep her from dying. Deftly, his hands stem the bleeding, always aware of the other presence in the room. "Quickly!... sir, ...could you bring the Yarrow from the front room, I may need some more to help her bleeding." Tembo whispers a faint prayer to the gods as it appears that he is successful in saving Mother Sara's life. [OOC: I think this was right since I only needed a 12 (IQ 9, +2 medic, +1 herbs) or less, correct?] invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3151834/3d6 → [6,1,4] = (11) Healing ---- Reynaldo smirks and speaks quietly to himself as he leaves. "Betters indeed. Better at being a blowhard, I'll grant you that." He looks down at the black bag. "Did that foul thing steal the bag from the herbalist?" he muses aloud.
