Hey, Scott! Is 15mm still your scale? Yep. In fact, I just finished cleaning up my work bench after a paint bottle shattered while I was painting miniatures. In fact, I've more than doubled down here recently after getting seriously bitten by Two Hour Wargames' products. You guys had already forced me to branch out into sci-fi so I could play Empires End, etc. THW has sort of caused me to dive into zombies, pirates, colonials and even pulp and dinosaurs (they have a game where you can role play a dinosaur chasing the dinosaur hunters - how cool is that?!). I stick with true 15mm, though; I try to stay away from "Heroic 15", which appears to really be 18mm, or the "15/18mm" which appears closer to 20mm. The Miniatures Page has proven quite helpful in my acquisitions as there are frequently size comparison photos of miniatures from different manufacturers. I tend to focus on Splintered Light Miniatures, Rebel Miniatures, Khurasan Miniatures, and Highlander Studios. I've been looking pretty hard at Blue Moon Manufacturing, but I'm not totally convinced with the size compatibility with my existing miniatures. Much to my misfortune, I discovered that Black Raven Foundry's "15mm" are really 18mm. I'm cool with tall women, but 7-1/2 foot tall Amazons look a bit goofy with my existing miniatures. Those were the first miniatures I purchased after I discovered DCG and COK. So, what prompted the question?

Scott,
I remembered you were into 15mm from comments made a few years ago. I was kinda curious if there was "scale creep" like in 25mm becoming 28mm, and now pieces are close to 32mm. Sounds like there is quite a bit of that in 15mm as well. Nobody makes "true" 25mm anymore, outside of a few guys with old molds (Iron Wind has old Ral Partha molds, Classic Miniatures has a bunch of old Heritage, some guy here in VA has the old Asgard molds), but it sounds like a few manufacturers still make a true 15mm.
Also, I have acquired a few 15mm figs in some bulk figure purchases off of ebay. I doubt I will ever get to paint them (I have 6,000 or more 25mm) and I would like to get them to a good home. I don't recall how many I have, a couple of dozen, maybe. If you want them, shoot me a pm with your address.

Bret, I've got a bunch of stuff from Khurasan, sci-fi and zombie for the most part. Lately, I've been painting modern zombies from Rebel Miniatures and have been stunned by the detail. Splintered Light's miniatures are equally detailed. I just wish my painting skills were up to the detail. For instance, I just picked up Khurasan's " Xenobiologist". She seems familiar, but I can't quite place her.... In all honestly, the game's character is small framed, and this miniature tops out about about 13mm. I am so hosed when it comes to painting her.

Hello, all, We have received some excellent and detailed feeback from playtesting. While everything was positive, it was clear that more work needs to be done. It would have been nice to have these out for the holidays, but the fact is we really don't sell more of a title if it comes out at that time. So right now we are editing and rewriting. We want our adventures to be great, so it is a no-brainer to take a little more time. I do apologize for the delays, it is nobody's fault but mine. As always, George and I appreciate your interest and business! More news on these projects in late January. Bret Any updates on the new projects?? Thanks!

It's now about two years since the last DCG release, I think?! Hope to see something new this year!

Hey, all,
Long radio silence!
I assure everyone DCG is not dead. These past couple of years have been kinda rough for George and I. I say knowing that life is tough for everyone, so I am not using that as an excuse for not putting out any new adventures.
We still have the two adventures mentioned above nearly completed. They are still in the nearly the same state they were at the beginning of the year, and that is purely my fault. The truth is it has been difficult to for me to focus on the editing of these adventures. Part of the problem is external, and part is internal - my muse is kinda mercurial.
We have set the bar pretty high over the years, and we will never get something out the door just to get it out the door.
Anyway, the tl;dr answer is soon!
Thanks to all of you for your support and for checking up on us!
Bret

So we can put away the torches and pitchforks? The peasants have been cordially invited to be less revolting? OK.

Torches and pitchforks are cool - as long as you brought enough for everybody!
I could use a bit of prodding. And I don't mind a bit of revolt - shows that people still care!

Right then, pitchforks and torches for everyone. We'll hold off on the scythes until next month... Regards, Ed

Ouch! Those tines are sharp!
I have a long playtest session for Ebon Rebirth coming up with some players during the 3rd or 4th weekend in September; after that, the last round of corrections and revisions. Then it is off to George for his magic.
I appreciate everyone's patience and continued intrest!
