Here, I will offer my "novice" opinions of how to make the rules "better" (tongue-in-cheek or foot-in-mouth? 
)
I will start small
DAGGERS
In the weapons table, there are two entries for Dagger. One for normal use and one for grappling and counterattacking a takedown. The verbage/rule in the table about counterattacking a takedown is really unnecessary. One already gets an extra die of damage when counterattacking a takedown.
Proposed Entries:
Dagger (T) D:d6 H:-
Dagger--used in grappling (G) D:d6+2 H:-
