Hey, all,
For more than a week I have been locked out by Proboards. Every time I tried to come here, or proboards.com, or any of the various forums that Proboards runs, I got an Access Denied message. I could not even contact them to find out why, as their support forum was denied to me. I finally found an address belonging to their president and owner after some creative googling, and their Tech guy finally got back to me, claiming that malicious attacks were originating from my network. I requested specifics, but they were not forthcoming.
Anyway, this morning I was finally able to get back on. Sorry if I missed anything. I have a project I am trying to finish up today, but I'll be looking at the forum later to see what wisdom was laid down in my absence.
Hope you are all well!

Wow. That's disappointing.

Just an interesting follow up to this problem.
I use Norton Anti-virus. I usually don't have the VPN on. Recently I have been using it, and when it does, Proboards thinks it is a malicious attack for some reason. Every other place on the web, except for one, has no problem with my VPN. Not sure why Proboards perceives it as a malicious attack. Interestingly enough, the other place that treats it that way is the Steve Jackson Games forum. I am not even signed in and I get a message that my IP has been banned. Turn of my VPN, and I can view everything.
Very strange, but glad I figured it out. Not sure if it is worth communicating this to the Proboards support staff. They were not very helpful, even if they were clueless as to the cause.

I have generally stopped posting over on SJG -- a combination of technical issues and moderator attitudes has made me very reluctant to engage over there, both to avoid computer problems and to avoid the overly "active" (that's probably the most polite way to say it) and frankly fairly prejudiced moderators there.
